Step 7 - Select Panel Dimensions & Quantities (Plywood Veneer)
When ordering the ¼” plywood veneer panel you will need to indicate the width and height in inches and fraction followed by the quantity. This type of material is used to reface side panels [gables], toe kicks and every wide surface on your cabinetry.
The plywood veneer comes in two different options:
WHOLE SHEET: If you order whole sheets, they will automatically come with a measurement of 48”x96” and you will be doing the cutting with your table saw. You will save up to 40% in the cost using whole sheet rather than precut sheets. The cost is per sheet.
PRECUT SHEETS: If you order precut sheets, they will come custom cut to the size you request, however the precut plywood for side panels will cost more and won’t give you the opportunity to custom fit the panels in case of uneven drywalls, tiles or poor cabinet boxes installation. The price is per square foot.
If you decide to go with the whole sheet option you only need to fill in the number of sheets that you need, we recommend slightly over estimating on the material as a mistake can occur, and having extra material on hand will come in handy.
When ordering the pre-cut sheets you will need three different types of data:
- 1) Panel width
- 2) Panel height
- 3) Quantity of panels
